What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

Dave Sobey visited while I was on a tour of the store with my new manager, and I was so shy I hid behind Mr. Ritchie's back. Mr Sobey said, ?It's alright, you're going to be with us for a long time.? He was beaming, and I felt so special.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

The best part would be the many people that I have met along my journey. I think I know people in every store in Halifax and Dartmouth.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

My proudest moment was becoming a baker. Back then it was not a position held by a woman, and my mother was so proud.
