What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
I remember everyone made an effort to spell my name Cathie correctly. This was the first workplace where I encountered this gesture.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The best part of working at Sobeys is being treated like a real person and having people care about you as a person.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
My proudest moment was when I was promoted to the development team lead and a year later I was promoted to manager. Both offers were unexpected.
Who do you most admire?
My sister Cyndi, she enjoyed life to the fullest and made every moment count.
My Sobeys is...
...memories of my grandfather. He was proud to live in Stellarton and he would bring Sobeys products with him when he came to visit. He promoted Sobeys to everyone.
