What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

I was 16 and so nervous that customers would ask me something I didn't know, and how would I ever remember the produce codes?

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

The best part is the friendships I have made and interacting with the staff and customers; they become like a second family.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

The proudest moment is when I became store manager.

What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?

The students from the Vera Perlin Centre, who are across from the store and visit often, came and sang ?Stars of Christmas.? It was a moment I will never forget, my heart was full.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

Enjoy every day, and embrace all the knowledge you can get. Ask questions, everybody is willing to help.
