What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
I was 16 years old, first job and I was scared out of my mind. I loaded grocery bags into the trunks of cars and there was a big learning curve especially when there was a line up of cars. I had many mixups. I just call them an opportunity to learn how to do something differently.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The best part of working at Sobeys is the people. I'm one of the lucky ones who gets to work in an environment with wonderful people on a daily basis trying great food. It's been an adventure!
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
I have been proud every time I have been able to advance within the company.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Ask questions and join the pension program.
