What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

That it took me seven hours to set up the salad case and I thought it was never going to end.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

I enjoy serving the customers and working with all the great people that Sobeys employs.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

The community service work we do. We recently toured the food bank we donate to, and to see the families with little children, you think "My gosh, it's because of our company they have food in their stomachs at night."

What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?

My father. He passed away when I was 12, and he has always been on my shoulder guiding me.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

Treat others as you would want to be treated.
