What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
It was so manual back then, it was challenging to recall the sequences of buttons.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
Meeting people. I see lots of suppliers and getting to know and work with them.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
When I was promoted to procurement manager, my first management position in the company. They believed in me and thought I could suc- ceed, that felt really good.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
I enjoyed participating in Lawtons softball tournaments.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Show passion and work ethic and it's rewarded. That has been my experience.
