What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
I was very nervous, but I was looking forward to starting my new work experience.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
When we received Best Store Award for our district, and for receiving the Best Engagement score in Canada. Our customers are like family.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
Completing a renovation in 1997, which modernized the store.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Work hard, and anything is possible.
Who do you most admire?
My parents who instilled good values and a strong work ethic. We lived above the convenience store that they opened after immigrating to Canada in 1963, later expanding to an IGA franchise, and then Sobeys.
