What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

I felt nervous, anxious and a little bit out of my comfort zone. But I love to meet new people and was up to the challenge.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

My parents. They showed me at a very young age to respect and help others, to be honest, to work hard and never give up.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

Being nominated for Value Champion. That my staff at the time thought enough about me to take the time to nominate me was a true honour.

What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?

A colleague and I worked 36 hours straight to get a pharmacy ready to open. We went back to the hotel to try and get a few hours' sleep but the hotel was conducting a fire alarm test. We still laugh about it!
