What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

I remember the uniforms being white, a long coat with an orange collar and white duty shoes. We have improved over the years.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

Besides all the people I have met, I have enjoyed the changing technology. I remember ringing in the groceries by price and the introduction of scanners and debit machines.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

I am proud when I can help or offer advice to a co-worker who learns something new and they are proud of themselves.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

Don't be too busy to help both customers and your co-workers. Be positive and be kind. A little kindness goes a long way.

Who do you most admire?

I most admire my husband Peter and our daughter Allison. Family is everything and I am proud of them everyday!
