What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
My first day was a night shift and I was very sleepy. They wanted me to fill out paperwork after that but I couldn't even do it. I was too tired.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
I do quite a bit of things like receiving and lots of different parts of the job. I really like it.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
Receiving recognition for working with some of the co-op students that come into the store. I enjoyed showing them new things and working with them.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
When they first offered me a full-time position. It's something that doesn't come along very often.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Respect and listen to your co-workers' ideas. It's all about repetition and doing things right.
