What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

The amount of activity going on at night was surprising, and I loved the great smells from the bakery.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

The camaraderie between peers. Every day you have a chance to make somebody's day.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

When I first got to manage a store and was able to make a difference in that community. I've had a lot of opportunities to advance at Sobeys, right from the start.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

I tell them my story, I worked my way up to store manager, and to never be afraid to try something new.
