What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
It was my first full-time job in Canada so it was a little intimidating. I came from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean so I was meeting a lot of new people.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The best part of working at Sobeys is making lifelong friends. I also enjoy working with the customers, treating them with respect when selling them products.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
My proudest moment was becoming the manager of a department.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Helping customers with advice on how to prepare meals. Also when I went to a seminar and won a set of knives, which was an achievement.
