What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

Another rookie and I had to move 2,200 cases of corned beef from a trailer to pallets. It took most of the day.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

The teamwork, and the commitment to providing quality food to the public.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

The Grand Falls warehouse was rebuilt after a fire, and it was a good feeling to walk into that brand new, modern building.

What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?

We had a fundraiser for a co-worker who was travelling to Quebec to see his sick daughter. It was a touching moment when we handed him that envelope; it made me realize that it's more than just work, he's family when you work together so long.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

Put in the hard work and you will be rewarded.

My Sobeys is...

...committed to their employees and to serving the public.
