What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
Meeting and greeting people in the store; helping people is something I enjoy doing every day.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
My proudest moment was training an assistant manager and having them go on to run a successful store.
What is your favourite memory from the past 25 years?
My favourite memory was going through a store remodel with little disruption to our customers, pitching in to help with the renovation, and having strong sales the year after.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Acknowledge customers when they walk in the door and make sure to take the time to make sure you satisfy their needs. Always be focused on the customer and take the time to nurture that relationship.
