What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
It was exciting getting to meet everyone, and I had no idea I'd still be here 25 years later, but it has gone by very quickly.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The regular customers. I know their names and they know mine, and they recognize me in whatever department I'm working in. I already know what some of them will order before they ask.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
I love my Home Meal Replacement department, customers love it and because it's the first thing they see, and we get so many compliments.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Enjoy every minute, it's a great experience.
