What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
That I had to do all the dishes for the deli department!
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
The people you get to meet, staff and customers. I know a lot of customers by name, and we support the Lions Club and local events. I've been with Sobeys for 25 years full time, but 34 years total; it has gone by quickly.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
The most recent was in May 2018 celebrating with my team being No. 1 in Atlantic Canada for sales growth.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Learn as much as you can about all departments, and always take care of the customer, everything else can wait.
Who do you most admire?
My dad.
