What do you remember most about your first day on the job?

It was a bit overwhelming! I remember all the forms and a computer system that was new to me.

What is the best part of working at Sobeys?

The wonderful co-workers I have known for 25 years, and the customers. The customers know that we care, and that's why they continue to come here.

What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?

Helping to teach the new employees and students. It has been really rewarding to watch them learn and grow. We also serve the community through fundraisers for the Relay for Life and local animal shelters.

What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?

Take an interest in people and their lives. It'll work out if you stay the course and have patience.
