What do you remember most about your first day on the job?
I was excited but it was very cold in the meat department. I also remember not wanting to touch the beef liver.
What is the best part of working at Sobeys?
Being part of a great team, the friendships I have and working for a family-owned Canadian company.
What is your proudest moment as a Sobeys employee?
There have been many processes and policies I have helped developed, launch and support. I have seen these make a difference at the store level, which is what I am most proud of.
What advice would you give to a new Sobeys employee?
Work hard, build your Sobeys family, say hi and talk to everyone. A simple thank you goes a long way.
